IQID: 23052 - May 2021
NodeBB Emoji plugin version 3.2.1 suffers from an arbitrary file write vulnerability. NodeBB nodebb-plugin-emoji could allow a remote authenticated attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by improper validation of user supplied input by the the emoji upload API. By sending a specially-crafted request, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to write arbitrary files on the system.
