IQID: 22165 - November 2020

M/Monit version 3.7.4 suffers from a privilege escalation vulnerability. Tildeslash M/Monit could allow a remote authenticated attacker to gain elevated privileges on the system, caused by improper permission validation by the /api/1/admin/users/update URI. By sending a specially-crafted request, an authenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability to gain elevated privileges as administrator.
