IQID: 16595 - January 2018

Endian Firewall v3.0 and lower have an OS command injection vulnerability in a web-accessible CGI script used to change passwords for locally-defined proxy user accounts. This could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands via shell metacharacters in the (1) NEW_PASSWORD_1 or (2) NEW_PASSWORD_2 parameter in cgi-bin/chpasswd.cgi.
