IQID: 15057 - April 2017

Commvault Edge is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the Communication Service (cvd). By sending specially-crafted packets, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with root/SYSTEM privileges.
