IQID: 12842 - March 2016

MiTeC Network Scanner is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by "Detect IP from Host name" field in the TOOLS Tab. By using a specially-crafted string, a local attacker could overflow a buffer to execute arbitrary command or cause the application to crash.
