IQID: 6949 - March 2013

Ruby on Rails could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by the improper validation of input by the convert_json_to_yaml() method. By sending a specially-crafted JSON request, an attacker could trigger the JSON parser to decode a subset of YAML to inject SQL commands, inject and execute arbitrary code and cause a denial of service.
