IQID: 10752 - April 2015

WEBGATE eDVR Manager contains an overflow condition in the Connect(), ConnectEx(), and ConnectEx2() methods in the WESPEvent.WESPEventCtrl.1 ActiveX control. The issue is triggered as user-supplied input is not properly validated. With a specially crafted web page or file, a context-dependent attacker can cause a stack-based buffer overflow, resulting in a denial of service or potentially allowing the execution of arbitrary code.
