Ray Bryant
Ray Bryant, Chairman and Managing Director (CEO)

Ray started working life in a firm of London chartered accountants, qualified as Chartered Company Secretary in 1979. His career in I.T. started at the Control Data Corporation, in finance, production and logistics. Ray spent fifteen years with Ciba Geigy Switzerland, working on Finance and ERP software implementations in the UK, USA, Saudi Arabia, Greece, Turkey and the Philippines. Ray also worked at SSA Global Technologies as a financial systems consultant culminating in the creation of an independent compliance company, SLA Management Services (Barham Group) which Ray headed as chairman and managing director. The Barham Group, during the next six years, grew to service many I.T. companies including one of the largest IBM mid range, UNIX, ERP and CRM software providers in the world. Ray took the company from start up to successful sale in 2008.

Chris Thomas
Chris Thomas, Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

A graduate of the University of Birmingham, Chris has over twenty five years of computing and programming experience, and has worked in website development, and software development positions, as well as updating and maintaining order processing, financial control and point of sale technologies. Chris joined idappcom in 2006 to develop the eXert suite of SOX compliance applications, and now as CTO, oversees the future architecture and development of idappcom's flagship network security assessment product, Traffic IQ Professional.

Simon Wesseldine
Simon Wesseldine, Chief Security Officer (CSO)

Simon has a background of managing secure Information Technology (IT) networks spanning over 25 years, the majority of which were spent working for the British Ministry of Defence (MoD) and alongside UK Government and Intelligence Agencies. Starting his career as an Electronics Technician for the British Army, Simon quickly scaled the ranks and when he left the military in 2009 he was a senior technical officer responsible for the support of large scale Operational IT Network Deployments worldwide. Although Simon is certified with many Cisco Network Engineering credentials, his main passion and focus since joining the private sector has been on Network Security. Since 2009 Simon has developed specialist skills in Perimeter Defence and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) and as the Chief Security Officer (CSO) Simon leads and mentors a skilled team of security analysts who create the packet captures and Snort rules for IPS vendors around the globe.

Currently Simon is committed to Idappcom's new venture, which is developing a small form factor, inexpensive, business grade IPS for the Travelling and Home User. Simon is looking forward to building and heading up the brand new Security Operations Centre (SOC) that will manage incidents and alerts from that system.

Darren Johns
Darren Johns, Head of Security Rules Development

Darren began his career in 1991 as a Telecommunications Operator for the Royal Air Force, responsible for the coordinated transmission and reception of secure telecommunications all over the world. After the operator and the technical trades merged Darren was able to explore his more technical nature. He worked as a Network Administrator on a secure network ensuring communications were maintained, again on a global scale. After that he worked as an Oracle Database Administrator managing, configuring and maintaining a large database used by high level management for the reporting of key statistics and critical information. Darren had a desire to work in IT security and this was met when he worked as a Network Security Analyst/Engineer at the Joint Cyber Unit. Darren was the technical lead for a team managing, maintaining and developing network security sytems as well as responsible for the security policies they held. Darren is now the Senior Security Engineer reponsible for identifying and re-creating the latest exploits for our bespoke TIQ Pro application as well as writing the Snort rules which will alert our customers to these threats. Darren holds two GIAC qualifications GCIA and GCIH as well as SnortCP and SFCP.

Michelle Thomas
Michelle Thomas, Administration and Client Relations

Michelle's first class degrees in both Psychology and Health & Social Care, make her ideally positioned for her role as Client Services Manager.

Michelle is the first point of contact for all new and existing customer enquiries, liaising with clients and caring for their ongoing needs, and maintaining positive relationships.

In addition to the statisical analysis of marketing data and other vital business functions, Michelle is the driving force behind our various social media platforms, which keeps idappcom firmly plugged into the rapidly changing Security threatscape.

Dee Sehejpal
Dee Sehejpal, Security Rules Developer

Before joining Idappcom, Dee had 15 years’ experience in IT Support, covering from Helpdesk to Field Engineer to 2nd Line. An interest in Networking and particularly security, led him to obtaining his CCNA. These studies roused his interest in security even further and study for certifications in Security+, SSCP, CEH and CCNA Security. Dee's main tasks include researching vulnerabilities, producing exploit pcaps and SNORT rule writing.

Liam Weston
Liam Weston, Web Developer

Liam is a recent graduate of Cardiff University, completing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and is new to the Computer Security industry. Liam has previously worked as an IT Administrator throughout his holiday time during his second and third year of University. After leaving University he was asked to return on multiple occasions to assist with internal programming projects.

With a strong knowledge of Web languages Liam has been tasked with the development of our User Portal for our Intrusion Prevention System devices, along with helping with other development projects within the company.

Gabriella De Bakker
Gabriella De Bakker, Senior Contract and Licence Auditor

Gabriella started out working for BASF in Belgium and South Africa. Her career in software compliance took off when she joined SLA Management Services in the UK in 2003. In 2007, she relocated to Australia to head up the company’s Asia Pacific branch. In 2008 she joined Infor as a result of the acquisition of SLA Management Services by Infor. As a member of Infor’s License Management team, she was in charge of the day-to-day operations for the Asia Pacific region.

Idappcom now utilises the many skills she has acquired as a Senior consultant specialised in software contract and licence audits.

Wendel Grosvenor
Wendel Grosvenor, Senior Contract and Licence Auditor

Qualified as a production engineer, Wendell started his career in the manufacturing industry implementing computer based production and costing systems at Rolls-Royce Cars.

In 1986, he moved into full time ERP consultancy, implementing IBM's Maapics & Pansophic's RMS solutions.

Wendell later moved to SSA Global where he undertook a variety of roles such as lead consultant and practice manager for supply chain solutions as well as heading up the BPCS supply chain education and certification program. He later became heavily involved in the development of advanced supply chain management applications.

In 2003, Wendell joined SLA Management Services where he headed up a contract audit and compliance coordination team.

He subsequently moved to Infor 2007 as a Solutions Architect for the Global Accounts group.

In 2010 he joined the HSO Group where as a Solutions Specialist became a project evangelist, specifying, implementing, integrating, optimising and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics AX, CRM, Retail, and Warehouse Management solutions.

He joins Idappcom as a consultant specialising in software license audits.

Chuck Lumb
Chuck Lumb, Senior Vice President – Audits

After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, Chuck moved 100 miles west and north to begin his career at Arthur Anderson in Chicago. He worked for five years as an Information Systems consultant – coding, testing, and designing RPG/400 programs for a dozen different clients. Then, he went to graduate school for two years and earned his MBA from the University of Chicago.

Chuck spent the next eight years at System Software Associates (SSA) in various roles including senior programmer, team leader, senior development manager, and product manager. He is an expert on the BPCS ERP products, as well as the AS/SET CASE tool.

Chuck joined SLA Management Services in 2001 and helped to build a very successful company specializing in software compliance audits. During a seven-year period, he served in numerous roles including Operations Manager and President – North America. Chuck is an expert in all audit phases including opportunity analysis, contract review, scheduling, and reporting.

Alejandra Senerio
Alejandra Senerio - Audits

Alejandra started her career in software compliance audits with SLA Management Services in the UK in 2003. Alejandra was responsible for the coordination of the client’s audit process for Spain, Portugal and LATAM region. In 2006, she relocated to Spain to head up the company’s Spanish branch. In 2008, Alejandra moved to Rome, Italy to take up a new challenge working as an International Relations Officer for a renowned University. As a member of the strategic planning team, she oversaw coordinating and developing new contacts, drafting contracts and collaboration agreements. Ensuring the communicational flow among departments and international partners.

In 2015, Alejandra returned to the IT sector working as a Business Development Specialist in different projects with companies like Nutanix and VMware. Her role involved prospecting within an assigned territory to uncover new opportunities. Identifying and nurturing deals with both new and existing customers and tracking customer data, working cooperatively with internal and external partners to improve the velocity of business and to create solutions that serve the best interests of customers and the company.
