IQID:9647 OpenFiler 2.99.1 - Cross Site Request Forgery Vulnerability_1 S

IQID: 9647 - October 2014

Openfiler contains a flaw as HTTP requests to admin/system_shutdown.html do not require multiple steps, explicit confirmation, or a unique token when performing certain sensitive actions. By tricking a user into following a specially crafted link, a context-dependent attacker can perform a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF / XSRF) attack causing the victim to shutdown or restart the system.
